Voice Lessons and Vocal Workshops 

Thank you for registering for voice lessons! I’m so excited to work with you and your child. Taking voice lessons will be an amazing experience, and when done with consistency will yield amazing results. Please follow these instructions to complete your registration. 

1. Read through the Studio Policies document (attached). 

2. Sign and email me the Financial Contract and Attendance Agreement (attached) 

3. Choose what payment method you prefer and confirm with me after your registration.

Studio Schedule - Lessons will take place every week.  Below you will find dates for no lessons.

Books, Instrument, & Other Materials

Required books will be email to the parent for the parent to purchase online or in store 

Please have the following for online lessons 

• Tablet or Computer to Access Zoom lesson call

• Practice Space App on devise to access vocal technique exercises 

• Vocal Curriculum Binder ($25)

• Metronome

• Binder + 3-ring hole puncher for any printable 
  
  

Missed Lessons/Cancellations: Students are expected to attend all scheduled lessons per each spring and fall semester.  Tuition and enrollment fees are non-refundable and makeup lessons are not automatically scheduled. Please plan lesson times and social engagements accordingly. The teacher does not guarantee makeup lessons for missed lessons. There is a 24 hour cancellation policy. 

Teacher absence: When the teacher becomes ill they will let the parent know and try to reschedule the lesson. If the lesson cannot be rescheduled the lesson amount will be deducted from the following month’s invoice. 

Tuition & Payment: 

Tuition is due the first of the Semester, first of the month for packages of 4 or at the time of the lesson. Please see pricing sheet selections.  

Tuition covers

• Reserved lesson time for weekly lessons August - May

• Recorded video feedback for missed lessons from the student

• Teacher software, materials, books, apps

Payments will be made on the first of each month through my billing software on my website. Setup after registration is complete.

Financial Contract and Attendance Agreement

By signing this agreement, you acknowledge your financial responsibilities to Susan Niekamp Studios Inc.  You are acknowledging that you have read, understand and agree to our studio policies and absence/makeup policies. Commitment is very important and necessary for growt.  All tuition is due on the 1st of each month and will incur a late fee of $20 if not received by the 5th of the month. If tuition is not received 5 days after the due date, lessons will be terminated and the spot will be filled with another student. All past-due accounts will receive a courtesy email and phone call before lesson termination occurs. To withdraw from lessons please give a 30-day notification of withdrawal. Should something arise where you cannot financially fulfill your commitment to your child’s music lessons, we appreciate and encourage advance notice and open ongoing communication with our office. 

Attendance: Lessons are given weekly during assigned lesson time with the exception to school breaks. All students who miss a lesson because of an emergency situation will be invited to send a video of their songs and the teacher will send video feedback before the end of the week. No refunds or discounts are given for students who miss a lesson. Please see studio policies for more details.
